Mr L* is a migrant worker from China. He shares a room in a rented flat with fellow migrants while working in Singapore. He sends money every month to support his family back home and dreams of when he can see them again. Due to his thick accent, we struggle to understand him but the joy on his face when we presented him the bike was beyond words. He shyly offered to pay us, which we politely declined.
We have the deepest gratitude to Pastor Samuel, who despite living by faith like us and is a missionary to Cambodia, donated his bike for Mr L. Thanks also to sister Peggy for sponsoring the repairs and refurbishing.
We are moving our operations back home as we do not have funds to continue renting. We are still sending bikes to needy families but we ask for your patience as we juggle between moving, ongoing operations and responding to urgent requests. Please continue to pray for us as we transition to the next phase of our journey.
