This single mum stays in a one room govt rental flat after being in hiding a number of years from her abuser.
While mum needed a bike to commute to work, she wanted a bike for her daughter to cycle together as well.
This was especially memorable for us as we usually deliver the bikes by cycling them to the beneficiary and this was the first time I helped hubby cycle the bike to the daughter! It was so difficult cycling up hilly roads in a kids bike I was panting most of the way.
