Mr Aizuddin, social development officer from Masjid Sultan came across my Carousell post. He contacted me for a bike to help his client start employment doing food delivery. He requires flexi hours as he is also caregiver for his ailing mother.
When Masjid Sultan heard about BikeShack they were very supportive and the corporate collaboration process was super quick and smooth. They even offered to link us up with the mosques caring for Zakat families in the north.
It was a memorable trip as it was the first time I had to cycle so far to help hubby deliver the bikes. We went about 22km under the hot sun. Somebody needs to donate me SPF 500 sunblock!
It is always satisfying when the beneficiaries see such nice bikes coming from us. Moreover, David is quite OCD about the right bike fit. I was super glad when I met our giant 'bouncer-sized' beneficiary. He is almost 6' tall and so the large Claude Butler mountain bike David fitted for him is quite suitable.
Masjid Sultan presented a memorabilia which we display proudly in our shop.
