Mdm I and children are survivors of a very vicious domestic abuse. She needed a bike to commute to work. As she is petite at <1.5m, we had to find a teen bike with slightly longer top tube that suits her.
While working on this bike, David had a deep cut on his finger while removing a faulty stand. There was a lot of blood and I had to use a bandage specially for deep cuts. Was super scary. Like our second son Isaac who's autistic, David just shrugged off the pain and continued working on the bikes. Obviously, the wound re-opened a couple of times the following week 😢
When we presented her the bike, we found out that her son enjoys cycling and has done some work on bicycles too. We gifted him a tee-shirt with our logo and a bike multi tool.
