On the way to deliver a bike, David met another cleaner uncle with a faulty bike at Jurong (uncle had to push his bike home to Clementi).
On approaching the uncle to see if he could help, David found that the bike's condition was too dangerous to cycle. He advised uncle not to use it anymore and explained to uncle what we do.
We promised uncle that we will prioritize a folding bike (less dangerous than a full bike for seniors and elderly) and will also double our efforts to look for repair sponsorship.
This striking red folding bike was donated by a young couple and suited uncle very much. We quickly put bike into queue for repair and refurbishment.
When uncle saw his new striking red ride, he broke into a great big toothless smile.
