J* is living with his single mom at a transitional shelter on the west of Singapore. At 16, this strapping lad goes through a phase of nuclear emotions, finding acceptance and the stress of sitting for his 'O' Levels later this year.
To help him cope with his many challenges, J*, through his social worker, requested for a bicycle to destress from his studies and to run errands for his mom. On exactly the same day, our patron Jaxon walked in our door unannounced with a blue folding bike to donate. Imagine our 😲!
Moreover, just the week before, our patron Clara, made a contribution to our SGBikeFund. David immediately started refurbish the bike for J* who shares the use of it with his mom.
Big thank you to the case workers from AWWA for reaching out to us on J's behalf and deepest appreciation from our beneficiary to Jaxon for the bike and Clara for funding the repairs.
