This bike donated by the boys of St Gabriel's Sec School was sent to a family in their community.
Its for Mdm D to accompany her two daughters cycling to and from school. Without the bike, Mdm D struggled to keep up.
Due to an unfortunate road accident Mdm D's husband is handicapped for life and unemployed. When we told them about the good work from the student of St Gabriel's, we were blown away when Mr E told us he was an old boy of Monfort Brothers school.
They made the extra effort of writing officially to thank the principal of St Gabriel - Mr Shawn Lim and board member of the alumni - Mr Gordon Lim
We join them in thanking the Montfort Brothers alumni for sponsoring the repairs and refurbishment of the bike, the students of St Gabriel's secondary school for repairing and refurbishing the bike (see blog here) during their VIA (values-in-action) curriculum to benefit needy families in their community, and bike donor who wishes to remain anonymous.
